I’m just a freak

My wife and I got some new glasses today. We had eye exams first. I passed with a B+. Anyways, during my exam the optometrist asks if anyone has ever told me that one pupil is larger then the other. “No”, I reply, “Should I be self conscious about it?”. She goes on to tell me that it is hardly noticeable unless you are looking hard for it, and that she’ll be monitoring it. It turns out that this is something caused by a Neurological disorder from trauma.

My vision is 20/20 again. Huh? Well, my last glasses were a very light prescription. This new prescription is just for driving. I have problems where I stare at a computer screen all day, drive home at night, and then stare at a computer screen all night. OK, sometimes I watch TV from a distance. The problem is that my eyes are focused on one thing and have a hard time adjusting for distance.

I joined my wife and her mother who were picking out glasses. I think they had just finished up. We started looking for some that would fit my so-called image. I guess they are more aware of my style then I am. I let them pick out a few glasses and I tried each pair on. I finally settled with some light silver frames that were oval shaped.

New Glasses

We made sure that the glasses were shatter resistant. The frames are also great for young kids. My last pair got damaged playing with my niece and nephew.

    Lewie!

I’m sorry if this isn’t the right way to contact you, but I didn’t see any e-mail link on your page.

I’ve been testing your upload script for our website and have a few questions. Not being a programmer myself, please forgive what might be an elementary question.

    1) Is it possible to start the whole procedure from upload.asp? I don’t need the extra step in order to save the filename to a table - I assume that’s why I’m returned to a form with the filename in the field.

    2) Is it possible to test for the existence of a folder and if it isn’t there, create it?

    3) Is it possible to rename a file that is being / was uploaded?

    Thanks for your help

    Stephen Green
