Dreams of a horse stable

I had one of these wierd dreams the other night. From time to time, I record them onto a little audio device setting next to my bed. I would write them down, but it just takes too much time and I’m only half-awake when I do it.

This dream was about a horse stable and a club house nearby. I was sent to go pick up a horse for my manager. I showed up in the high-class club in the most scruffy state possible. A woman asked for my membership card as I began to enter another room. I replied that I was not a member and was looking to find out where I needed to go so that I may pick up a horse. She stated that the stables were further down the road.

On the way out, many people were on the lawn in front of the club. I would pass them on my way to the car and noticed my dad walking alone in the opposite direction towards the club. I decided to shout his full name since a lot of people there were probably called “Dad” by there children. He didn’t take notice and the second time I called, “Dad!”.

My father notices me and I asked why he was there. He was quiet but said that he was getting some lunch. I told him that it seemed to be a very expensive place to eat lunch. Dad said that he had to go and he continued on his way. I saw him approach a man holding a little girls hand. Dad grabbed the girls other hand. It struck me as odd seeing him with another family, having another life.

I continued on my way towards the stables and had a really tough time finding the horse. The stables were not just one building, but composed of many open buildings. They had roofs, but no walls. Some had wire mesh fences around the sides, where others had open fences made of wood that I would climb through.

I eventually called the keeper of the stables on my cell phone. During the conversation, I could hear an echo and realized that she was in a house behind me making breakfast in her kitchen. It seems that I was expected to bring a horse trailer with me and that it needed to hook up to my car. I didn’t have a trailer, nor the ability to hook one up. And by the end of our conversation, I was still confused on how to pick up this horse.

Very interesting… (Pretend I said that with a Freudian accent)

For some reason I have lots of weird and vivid dreams. I don’t know how to make any sense of them though.
