Moving on out
Today my sister in-law moved out of the house. She had been living with my wife and I for a few years now. Emotions around the house were (and still are) running pretty high. It is much quieter, or just seems that way. An empty house.
Our finances are getting on track. I suspect that the utility bills and living expenses will go down with less people and pets in the house. Angel and I are starting to think about home improvements, appliances, and a few other things that we would like to take care of. Here is a small list of a few things to start with:
- Eye Exams and Glasses
- HDTV
- Washing Machine and Dryer
- Dishwasher
- Refrigerator
- New Carpeting
The TV is only at the top of this list because our old one died. We have a little television for now that the kids used to use for there video games when they would visit. It is hard to see words on it. The two of us are both near sighted, so it doesn’t help that the couch is on the other side of the room.

You know, I’m starting to think that it’s really best for married couples to be on their own.
My brother is probably going to come back to stay with us again, but I now can see how different it is without him.
There’s more peace.
