World of Warcraft Installation
I did it. I purchased World of Warcraft (by Blizzard Entertainment). I just sat through more then an hour of installation. These games are getting to be large. I am easily bored and found myself programming while the installation was taking place.
Some games give you something to do during installation (such as The Sims) while others will present fun little facts and helpful tips. This game only had a progress bar. Yuck! At least they had some animated flames on a picture in the background.
I am off to get lost in another world. I’ll catch you on the flip-side.

is that game cool? I used to play warcraft 2 and starcraft a lot… those strategy games are fun…

Hi. I was searching to try and figure out what is wrong with my World of Warcraft. Well, I have a free trial and downloaded it with no problem but when I try to play it it says that I need to update my video card or download Directx 9.0. But I know I have both the things that I need. I’m desperate to find out what is wrong so I thought I might ask you. It would be great if you could email me with any suggestions. Thanks alot.

Um, Dana, if you don’t mind me asking, how did you get a free trial? Iwould like to try this game before I buy it, but I can’t seem to find a place to try it.

A free trial comes with the game that you can give to a friend to play for 30 days. As far as downloading it - the only thing I can think of is that Dana already had the software installed and downloaded a patch. Otherwise, I would think that she has an illegal copy.
