What are the chances?
I was playing WarCraft and decided that I wanted to see how other classes of characters and races played out. I started off with a Dwarf Hunter since these guys can have pets. A nice thing that like is that they can shoot prey from a distance with a gun. I got my dwarf up to level 7 in a few hours and then went back to playing with my Night Elf Druid again.
The next day, I heard that priests were one of the most underplayed characters. I created an Undead Priest because it sounded like an oxymoron. After playing for an hour or so, I was invited to a guild. I joined up and found that the person who invited me was the guild owner.
I was asked my age and I replied 29. The guild owner was 29. Someone asked where I was from and I replied Woodbridge. The guild owner stated that he was from D.C. I said that I practically pass it every day near the mixing bowl on my way to Fair View Park. Oddly enough, he said he worked there too. From this conversation, I was thinking that they were putting me on, as I was giving out the information first that they could play on.
Fairview Park is a buisiness park of a few delux business buildings surrounding a Mariott hotel. The whole place looks like … a park. The guild owner worked in the building accross the pond. Interesting enough, I wokred in the building facing the pond. We were neighbors! He had just started working in Fairview just a week ago.
We met on Monday and I showed him the MTS building and the cafeteria where you have a really good selection of food to choose from. Today, we met up again and he brought a friend with him. It is so odd to have a life outside of work and the Internet. I can manually speak with this guy. How cool is that?

I used to work in a place where everyone stayed late after work was officially over to play Warcraft. You could get a group at work started! Wouldn’t be a good thing for your wife, though.
