To boldly go …
I was over at the Purple Curtain blog and saw an entry: I adopted sheep. I’m clueless what it had to do with sheep, but the link provided gave me a creative little project to create a USS Enterprise from an old floppy disk.
I hunted around my room for a considerable amount of time before I found a floppy I could use. I popped it open and got the pieces I needed. I followed the 10 easy steps provided with each picture and had my own USS Enterprise. Proud of my accomplishment, I went down to see Angel and asked if she liked Star Trek. When she replied “Yes”, I handed her the model and wished her a happy birthday.
At first she and her sister thought it was cute. Then she started critiquing it. Apparently the saucer and the tail was upside down from her memory of the ship.
I started blogging about it and she came in the room. I asked if I could take a picture and she cracked up laughing. She presented the model with the two wings fallen off and apologized.

Ooh, harsh. She broke the Enterprise. Kirk didn’t even do that till the third motion picture.
I’m going to look for an old floppy, though.
