WOW! I can't believe how much wax came out of my ears. Ear candling, according to most medical authorities, is misleading quackery at best and potentially harmful at worst. <br /><br />Plus, eww. The person who blogged about it told a horror tale of having her ear candled, feeling an uncomfortable warmth and loss of hearing in the ear, seeing an ear, nose, and throat specialist, and having him pull out what seemed to be excessive amounts of nastiness from her ear canal.
