Got paid. Got GTA5 + Strategy Guide. Man … this game is huge. The traffic is a bit more improved. People get out of there cars and start comming towards you when you crash into them. All the radio stations are great. Rather then focusing on the mafia, this game focuses on gangsters and has the language to go with it.
I don’t mind playing as the main guy. My wife and sister in-law think he’s cute and were suprised to see him. The storylines are more colorful and I can relate to them better then that mafia stuff. I guess it is also because this game is set in the 90’s, it feels more at home.
I got the strategy guide and man - that thing is huge as well. I’m flipping through a lot of the maps and vehicles and … this game is just huge.
My only complaint is that I couldn’t get this for the PC. The clerk stated that the PC version isn’t due out for 6 months to a year. That just bites. The PS2 has problems with load times and resolutions. I remember playing GTA 3 & 4 on both my PC and my PS2 and the PC out performed like mad. The only problem is that I don’t have a joystick for my PC.
I almost picked up a hooker tonight, but she was a bad looking one. I guess the quality of hookers depends on the neighborhood you are in. This game has skills built in now - so now you have to take care of sex appeal, respect, driving, hunger, stamina, and more skills.
You can now swim in the game. Nice! Also, after the first mission, you start out with a house that you can garage two cars in, save the game, and change clothes. Awesome!
Well … tomarrow I get to work on mission 3. ‘Nite all.
