My phone is handycapped
Ever since the girls had a few fights thoughout the house, my phone hasn’t worked. It would ring, but every time I picked the phone up - no one would be there. I couldn’t get a dial tone either. At first, I suspected there were loose wires. I went down into the laundry room to mess with a few wires, but everything was plugged in where it should be. I asked them last night about it and didn’t get an answer. Angel came up just after that and explained that Miranda slammed the receiver against my desk when she was calling mom. Cassandra ran downstairs and pulled the plug out - so that is why Miranda was upset. I took a closer look and noticed the wire that connects to the handset was in way too far and I couldn’t reach the plastic tab to pull it out. Well … I soon found out that the speaker phone portion of it still worked. I didn’t hear anything and complained to Angel that none of it works and hung up. Just then, Miranda shouts from downstairs “That’s because I’m on the phone”. Apparently, half the time she is on the phone - neither party is speaking. Weird People I tell ya.
