Help for gaining Karma and Chips on Blog$hares
Ok, I’ve been using this technique for the past couple of days so I thought I would share it with everyone else. Chips are pretty cool to get a hold of with BlogShares. The main way to get chips is to vote on blogs to say what industries (categories) they fit into. You gain karma by having a moderater agree on your vote. After you obtain 100 karma, you can also moderate votes and gain karma that way as well.
So … onto the helpful hint. First - use the search tool to find blogs that your interested in. I kept running into the problem at first where I didn’t know what to search for. Well, I then thought about what blogs were about besides journals. The first thing that came to mind was sports. I’ve been voting for a lot of sports blogs. What I do is find a list of all football, basket ball, soccer, etc. teams and search for them on blogshares. I visit each site and then vote for the sport if the site accurately reflects that sport. For example - I searched for “Redskins” and voted the fansites as “American Football”. So hopefully this helps someone get some Karma and chips. Good luck!
