Got over 100 karma with Blog$hares
I got 100 karma this morning and was able to start moderating stocks being voted into different industries. I was curiouse as to how it was done and wondered what the delay was sometimes when I would vote for each stock. Well, it turns out that there must be a pool of over 1000 stocks before you can moderate anything. You can only moderate 10 stocks at a time, and you can only do it every 30 seconds. This is to prevent duplicate moderation of the same stock. I can see how this is a simple way to cover the issue and allows the site to scale well. It isn’t perfect - but it will do.
